+ Social Media Editor
+ Digital Journalist
+ Video Creator
Born and raised in Sacramento, I currently reside in Koreatown, Los Angeles. I’ve worked as a social media manager and content creator for digital and print publications since 2015, but I’ve been chronically online for much longer (Myspace, Tumblr, the terrifying depths of Degrassi message boards…you name it.) I got my start on YouTube in 2013 as a vlogger-turned-cultural critic where I cultivated an engaged audience of more than 85,000 subscribers. My work has been featured by GLAAD, Refinery29, Teen Vogue, Bustle, Upworthy, and more.
In addition to video content creation, I’ve worked as a senior social media editor for independent publications, such as Bitch Media, where I cut my teeth as a developmental editor and copyeditor working with writers and contributing pop culture and political coverage. Most recently, I was a reporter and community manager for 404 by Los Angeles Times, a social-first team of video journalists that launched in 2022 to reach younger, more diverse audiences on TikTok and Instagram. In 2024, the 404 team received two Webby Awards nominations for News and Politics in “Social Video Short Form” and “General Social” and was a finalist for the News & Media 16th annual Shorty Award.
My past coverage spans a wide range of beats, including California’s housing crisis, online communities, police brutality, public health, social justice, and media criticism. You can check out my work here.
